put wristwatch in vaccum bag to suck out moisture?

I went swimming with my watch and then I discovered a little condensation on the inside. It was in freshwater. I have vac pump and bag for veneering. Could I stick it in there to suck out the moisture?

Don't think it would work to get out moisture with just the watch and a vac bag. Might add a bunch of rice to the bag then take the air out. The rice should absorb the moisture.

I would try removing battery, leave it open and lay on dash of car in hot sun.

It will dry out on its own.

i would think the best success would be if you could take the battery cover off and put it in a regular (not microwave) oven at about 100-130 degrees for a while to bake out the moisture. Or take the cover off and put it in a sealed bag with a few silica gel packets.
Either way you need an easy path for the water to get out, even a small amount of moisture will be hard to get back past the seal that leaked it.

Rice should do, or some of those desiccant packs that come with electronics and some tools.

Put it in your freezer overnight. No prep needed.

Another vote for rice. Works well on cell phones dropped into water.
