I was going to suggest Sam's recommendation. Saw it on this weekend's Woodsmith Shop TV show.

I've seen them used as part of a "beauty dish" lighting kit DIY for photography. The storage container seems like a good idea. Otherwise, I throw them in the recycling bin,

I hang the center parts with the spindle above my work table and near my table saw. They make great holders for my safety glasses and hearing protectors.

I have broken off the center post and mounted the base under a shelf. You can put screws in the clear container and then hang them under the bench.

The ones that have the twist lock work best. The ones that screw onto the bases don't stay put.

Works kind of like the old baby food jars.... but bigger.

That is a good tip...beats glass baby food jars. We have no baby, and hence...no jars.
