    "Known To CAlifornia...

Is there anything they consider safe?

This was on the plywood subflooring I put down.

    Don, aka Pappy,

Fools because they have to say something.

Your safe Don, unless of course you cut that plywood! Apparently in California your not supposed to cut plywood or any wood for that matter... must be why it's so expensive to build there.

I was in CA for the first time a few weeks ago--Pomona for the NHRA drag race. The number of signs i saw similar to that around the race track was amazing!! Wasn't sure if the fences were there to control the spectators or as a place to hang the signs.

Now they just need to add a notice below that warning "the ink used to print the above notice is known by the state of California to cause..." then a warning about that warning...ad infinitum!!

Several types of oil finishes are also banned here and borg won't cut mdf, osb, anymore. I've heard plywood will be next. Which I assume will make all their panel saws useless.
I reject your reality and substitute my own.

Hey - the lemon-aid for those lemons - you might get a real good deal on a Used panel saw!!

One of our esteemed legislators has sponsored a program called "There Oughtta Be a Law". As if we don't have enough badly conceived, contradictory laws in this state.

Then again, I'm an engineer and most legislators are lawyers. The two professions employ vastly different problem solving methods.

                      What about:

"...known to the state of California that coitis causes cancer and..."

edit: sorry if this offends, but the state of California takes thing way too far, just like I did.

While funny, I'm afraid that all these warnings have made the public somewhat immune to warning labels.

All Thumbs just said it all!

All those warning signs and we just ignore them now. One time I read that a person can drink too much water and suffer from it. Now that ONE just requires good old fashion common sense.

The Legislature in California suffers from Dementia. We are trying to make them part time.
