Thanks folks... It's been a good day. After work, LOML and I went out to my favorite Italian place, Marios Flying Pizza in Seabrook Texas, opened up some great gifts. One I knew of already (she made me buy it so she KNEW I got the right thing), and I got a little slice of Grasshopper pie... I heard from my brothers earlier in the day, which is great... And to top it off, I spent a little bit of shop time doing some layout for a book case I am starting...

Got birthday greetings from old college buddies as well...

Thanks Loring! I am wondering though. I thought you were older than me for some reason... So what's this old man stuff?

I did get some nice gifts for my B-day. LOML has been watching the sales VERY closely, and got sneaky on me. I scored a few nice shirts for work, which is great, I need some new shirts, and need to retire a few... Also scored a Husky pressure feed / siphon convertible spray gun along with detailed instructions from a contractor friend of the family on how to thin and spray latex... I think she's hinting at finishing the bathroom! Also scored a set of Steelex Ti coated brad point bits. The reviews on those are pretty good, and my regular twist drills have a habit of walking on me. I have been wanting brad points for a while now...

She did make one minor mistake, and it is probably my doing with my Amazon wish list, I was asking for a 24 T 10" Diablo ripping blade, she got a 24T 7.25" Diablo framing blade... That's fine, I have a mess of rough cut work that needs to happen with the circ saw anyway... I think I may have entered the wrong blade in my wish list, which is what she was going by...

Got to fall asleep last night, close up with LOML watching one of our fave movies...

Not quite there yet, but as close to heaven as you can get while still breathing...

Nice scores Dave, Happy belated B-Day. As for latex spraying I have done quite a bit of trim and what works really well for me is thinning the latex with Floetrol Great product, doesnt change the color of the paint and makes for easy spraying. Sounds like you have plenty of work to do now!
