That's pretty amazing. I picked a random person to zoom in on and was expecting the pic to get grainy/pixelated when I zoomed in, but it was surprisingly clear.

That's pretty amazing. I picked a random person to zoom in on and was expecting the pic to get grainy/pixelated when I zoomed in, but it was surprisingly clear.

The hot one! - no, seriously I just picked a spot and kept zooming in. I didn't spend more than 2 minutes with the site. I was curious to see if I could zoom in on a face well enough to see if it would be a recognizable person. I was thinking that the image could possibly be strong enough to be useful for facial recognition software (antiterrorism, etc.)

I said I was in it 12 times (jokingly, too) subtly dinging the "gigapixel" technology which works by taking 216 photos over 15 minutes and stitching them together to make a super resolution picture. In 15 minutes I could have been in multiple frames used for this composite picture.

Perhaps too subtly for some, if I have to explain it.

Find the "Georgian St." sign, go left a short distance to the Traffic light pole. Zoom in to see their faces and you'll see those rascals doing the flipping the bird.
Hint, one guy is wearing a white w/blue trim "VANCO..." pull-over shirt.

Loring- I got the joke.

They did one of these at the U2 concert I sent to. It was in 3d too (meaning if you changed the angle the image of the person changed too).

Unfortunately, it was before the show and my brother and I were sitting on the field. But I found where I'm positive we were sitting....

Here's one of the ones I zoomed in on for Obama's speech. Right behind him, in fact. Seems like a few people weren't so roused by it.

I wasn't completely joking as my daughter and I were at the inauguration, about half way to the Washington monument, freezing our tushes off for 6+ hours and watching it on the big screen. Good luck finding me!
