Earthquakes, tsunami, nuclear meltdown, all pale by what I nearly experienced today....
I picked up a used engine for my Ram yesterday and knowing there are going to be a few things to do to get it ready to drop in I decided to buy an engine stand. Armed with a cart printout that included a 20% of online coupon and a sale price I was off to HF to pick up this.

In a moment of pure insanity, I decided to actually read the directions rather than just go by the pictures.
They were clear, in good English, easy to follow, and seemed to be complete. I did initially skip step 2, which was assembly of the engine mount/pivot plate, until after the complete assembly of the base.
After rading the section that said to test to make sure it rolled freely, the typical HF direction syndrome finally hit me....nowhere was there any mention of installing the rear wheels.
Until that moment of realization, I thought for sure that the world as we know it had come to an end and we had been somehow transported to a parallel universe.
