To cheer you up on this cold, stormy day

The news is full of winter news all over the country; each area seems to want to outdo the other in terms of snow fallen/expected/windchill/ etc.

To cheer y'all up, here's a picture of my driveway this morning

    today's local forecast is :

I hope that keeps you all warm...

Right now it's 75°, sunny, and 33% relative humidity, here. I was doing a bit of yard work in a "T" shirt, jeans, and sneakers. Worked up a real sweat.

          For reference...
          Wasilla Alaska.
          Current temp 37°F
          Today's forecast daytime high 32°F
          Tonight's forecast low temp 24°F

          League City, Texas.
          Current Temp 24°F
          Today's forecast daytime high 40°F
          Tonight's forecast low temp 25°F

How is it that it is COLDER on the Gulf of Mexico, than it is in Alaska right now?

Also how is it that the temp in Wasilla has to go DOWN to reach the daytime high?

I'll check back with you in August, temperature should be 95+ and humidity to match.

                      Ya'all Floridians suck. Just sayin.'

In beautiful downtown St. Louis County right now 20°, high of 21°, low tonight -2° after the 1" snowmageddon.

Two days off from school so far, though. I'll have to make it up in June, however.

Well, I just spent the last 5½ hours blowing snow from one place to another and I feel good about it.

Nice picture, and it sure looks enchanting!

But where are the alligators, water moccasins, and corel snakes?

Yeah, and don't forget the fire ants, chiggers, termites, and not having the unforgettable joy of snow blowing a 400 foot long driveway and a 25' by 30' turn around area plus two paths up to the house all within the space of 8 hours! The neat thing is that at the rate of snowfall right now I will have to do it all over again tomorrow morn! Don't get me wrong now; I love it!!!!!
