    World's most fearless animal

Not a lion, not a croc, but a...

    Badger!

    http://www.bing.com/videos/watch/vid...snhp&GT1=42007

That little guy is awesome. He smacks that cobra like nobody's business and munches on it like a popsicle.

Don't mess with a badger. Gives me a good feeling to know my son goes to U of WI!

Note to self. Don't mess with a badger.

Awesome video! I didn't realize there were badgers outside the US.

Badgers and Wolverines are 2 animals you don't mess with. The will rip you head off and spit down your neck. And I don't mean the 2 upper midwest college football teams. Over the yeasr thare have been a few stories in Field and Stream and other outdoor magzines on this subject they are never in good mood.

Badgers are quite common around here. Have not heard of any conflicts with people short of the darn pesky holes they make in some crop fields.

Video refers to the cobra as a "king cobra"... Not true, from what I can see.

                  Very impressive!

I agree that didn't look like a king cobra, but that is definitely one bad little animal. It seems to charge into battle with formidable opponents without a hint of hesitation. The badger appears to have utmost confidence and no understanding of the potential for failure.

funny thing is, Dachshunds are bred to hunt these things... and all mine hunts is apple cores in the trash, and that elusive permanently sunny spot in the afternoon to drag his blanket/pillow to

I could be wrong but I don't think the Honey badger is the same animal as the badgers we have in the US. Looks to me to be smaller and I think the US badgers are colored more brown and black instead of black and white. US badgers are pretty fierce also.

                            Hey Richard,

You beat me to it, only I was going to say my wife, every time I buy a new tool.

                            Cab,

I dunno, badger may just replace snake in my diet. BTW, what was the name of the snake in Nam that could really do you in.

My friend has a Dachshund. I cannot imagine little Clementine (the dog)
taking down a badger. Maybe a 100 Clementines could do it. Makes me laugh
                              thinking about it.
