Record Temp for the day in Mpls

Hit 64 degrees here yesterday. Average high for this time is about 39 degrees. Felt great to be outside without a jacket. Snow is pretty well gone in the Twin Cities. Life is good!!!

and I spent the entire day in the basement doing taxes.

Snow? Our peach trees and pear trees are in full bloom, and yellow pollen is blowing everywhere. Our 3 months of spring has started.

Yeah, well I spent the entire weekend in am apartment covered in plaster and insulation while trying to run new elelctrical.

Be optimistic, maybe that will at least help with the ice jams on the rivers.

Traffic through my little city can get pretty bad if/when they start closing bridges over the Minnesota river. This year doesn't look like it will be much of a problem down here, but thank goodness for the 'new' Bloomington Ferry Bridge so we can avoid 169 closing every year like it used to...
