What shop skills did you learn/master last year?

I built a face frame with mortise and tenon for the first time instead of using pocket screws. It's for my new mobile table saw stand, and another for my sanding station, but then the family thought we should have heat in the house this winter, so that got put on hold mid November.

I also switched from spraying lacquer to water based poly. The bathroom cabinet has about 15 coats of poly on it but I finally got it right.
