Can't say that I do. But it's a good song and a nice arrangement.

I was a college sophomore in 1984. That year is a little blurry.

College heck. I was in High School. Yeah I remember that video.

Of all the folks I see in there, Sting, Bono, and Phil Collins are the only ones that seemed to have stayed visible in a positive way. Most of them I simply don't recall names on anymore...

From what I read recently, Phil has some nerve issues now such that he can't feel to play the drums... How sad...

I was a new father in 1984! (My son is now a struggling artist in Portland).

Sting just came out with a wonderful winter-themed album. IMO he just gets better and better--someone who grows old gracefully.

Midge Ure--the guy who cowrote the song and got the project going with Bob Geldof--seems to have slipped into contented semi-retirement.

Boy George and George Michaels had great voices, but they certainly didn't grow old gracefully. Bob Geldof and Phil Collins look, well, pretty old.

+1 on Sting. Very few artists manage to change, and even fewer change for the better. He has matured in sync with his fans, I think, and therefore still speaks eloquently to them today.

Ditto the praise for Sting... I much prefer his easy-listening and jazzy stuff to that of his rocker period.
