    Got tagged last night

I am a member of our Neighborhood Watch Group and usually patrol on Friday night and during day when I get bored. Last night I and another member had our Garage doors tagged with gang graffiti the park down the street and a number of fence were also tagged with the same graffiti. Got it all cleaned up with so left over paint for the garage door. and so normal cleaning an polishing stuff on the truck. Told the police that if I catch them they will get call after I tag them. They won't be hard to spot as the run naked with Red Epoxy Paint messages on their little bodies. I will pay special attention to certain areas to make sure they get the message. We don't know yet if we were tagged because we fly the flag or because we are active in the Neighborhood watch. If it is because of the flag then its 12GA instead of paint. Like it told the cops I fought for the flag in the 60's and I can do it again in my 60's. We are waiting for a explanation as to what the letter means then they will know what gang it belongs to.

Were the pictures from a previous tagging, as the date on them is '03. That kind of activity makes me just want to catch them in the act. You could set up some surveillance cameras.

Date setting on the camera was probably incorrect...

          Tom,

Ever think of some medium weight piano wire tightly strung about neck height. That should spoil their day.

We have had one incident of that nature in my neighborhood in the 10yrs that I have been here. Kid tagged the cluster mailbox across the street and two houses down from me. 3 different security cameras got him dead to rights. It was a kid from about 3 blocks away. The police made a BIG show of dragging him out of his parents house and off to jail...

I'm pretty sure that he got the message from his dad after the law let him out. No trouble from him since.

Piano wire is a nice thought but is probably illegal. Unfortunately.

Yea, so is tagging, but it doesn't seem to stop those morons either.

This neighborhood has a lot of Gangs trying to move in along with the drugs. So far we have manage to keep the upper hand. We have a great relationship with the police so when we call the come. We have a pretty good idea who they are and where they live. Because of the housing mess a lot of homes were bought up by investors and used as rentals and some are section 8 and other programs that aren't monitored as to who rent them. We have managed to cut the helicopters flying around from twice aday to once a week. We think some one got ahold of the member ship list with the addresses or found out who the people are that run the Neighborhood Watch Patrol. I was out last night for 2 hours and will be again tomorrow night and this afternoon.

So sorry about the tagging... nobody likes that kind of thing in their neighborhood.

We had some of that going on, some wanna be toughs who thought they were a gang. One evening we heard something outside like a rattle can so I just looked at the dog and asked "who's in your yard" and I opened the door. That tagger screamed like a little girl when he found an 80 lb dog attached to himself.
Strange, they all stayed away after that.
