    My solution

Didn't get tagged, but a few years ago got a car window busted out and stereo stolen and dash torn up. Police didn't act too concerned, so my solution was Jet and Rocket, our two German Shepherd dogs. Now, nothing happens inside or out that they don't know about. Jet, the female, is especially territorial. We used to do shutzhund training with her and she had no problem attacking a human trainer. Always have at least one of them inside. If they ever alert me and I see someone breaking into a car, mine or a neighbors, I'm opening the door.

It appears that your graffiti referrers to rap music. I checked it on Google and found (http://ctemusicreviews.com/?page_id=200 ). USDA = (United Street Dope Boyz of America). Good luck on catching the taggers.

We haven't had a problem since the "Railroad Killer" a few years ago and they started watching the trains for illegals. Now a huge, low-income, subsdized apartment complex is being built across the tracks from me. 20 Ga - loaded with high velocity game load #8 shot, 22 rifle - loaded with hollow points, 30-30 - loaded with 150 gr., Pit Bull - growing every day...Yep, I'm 'bout ready! (Still got to clean and load the .38 and get the .32 Auto worked over....)

Guess I'm lucky. Great neighborhood watch.

And a police officer moved in 3 doors up, and has his cop car in the driveway all evening and night!

if it gets to be a recurring problem. I remember reading somewhere about a clear spray on wax type product that, after a tagging incident, can be easily washed off & reapplied leaving absolutely no trade of the offending marks.

I really have a problem with this whole gang mentality. The more I see "tags", the more my mind drifts off to vigilante retaliation. I always think it'd be nice to snipe a few bangers while in the act, to do nothing more than send a message to the rest of the pushers. But that would only make times more difficult for my family. (not part of my big plan).

I live in a VERY rural area, and in the last 3 years, I've noticed a few tags on some buildings in town. I heard that a certain latin gang is expanding west through my area. This would be a great place to stop their expansion, but it would take a coordinated effort to do so.

Spray painting isn't the big crime here, it's what the thugs bring to the mix that disturbs me. The illegal behavior, the crime, the drugs, the lifestyle... I don't want my kids anywhere around that crap. I live where I do for that reason, and I'd like to think that I could do what it takes to prevent gang activity from thriving in my town.

We had the Police Gang detail come by and a few other law enforcement also at a meeting yesterday afternoon. The have no clue what the tagging means, it is not a known gang tag. It is more some young A holes walking around at night with mommy and daddy's spray paint from the garage. Doesn't say much for the parents keep track of their kids. A lot fences along the street side of the properties were tagged. The PD have no clue why the 4 house displaying the flag were tagged. We all have a pretty good idea who the kids are and where they live so they will be watched. They could be trying to start a new gang or maybe trying to start trouble for the Muslims who live in the area. This is a very racially diverse neighborhood (600 homes). The police also said if it was gang related graffiti it would have painted over or a new gang tag applied by now. So I will be out Friday night in a different car patrolling with my neighbor. No guns and we don't get involved with stopping the crime unless it is a violent type crime and someones life is in danger, mailnly call the police who know we are out there and usually are near by.

And if you're not sure how to use this fine "tool", ask Cab, he's a wizz at urban extermination.

                      Update on Tagging

We have found out what all the Grafetti stands for/

U.S.D.A is a rap group out of Alanta GA called "United Streets Dopeboyz of America"

CTE is the artists group USDA belongs to.

Evidently the little punks got all fired up by some song and then went on a tagging spree and only tagged houses flying the flag. Personally I would like to use one of these and give intant justice.

I would love to sneak up behind them and rack a shell into the chamber of my 12ga shotgun. That is one the most intimadating sounds you can hear. I just get so fed with what has happened to our neighborhood over the last 25 years. Couldn't even sell our house for what we paid for it 25 years ago.
