Same here, nice flurries but didn't stick on the ground. Heard on the 10:00pm weather that Houston has had more snow than Chicago this year. lol
I thought I was wrong, but I was mistaken.

        Winter of '93

My last winter on the Isle of Long.
We had one snow storm after another- just hammered us for a total of 57".
I had just bought my first 4WD - a 3/4 Ton Suburban. I was the only one on my block able to get up and down the two steep hills on my street. The plow didn't show for about a week. Everyone just stayed home; didn't even attempt to shovel their cars out, everyone except me and my sweet Suburban !

That was the year I decided to leave New York and move to Florida.
I never regretted it, don't miss State Income Tax, (NYCity fools get a City income tax too -triple taxed !!)and, Auto Inspection stickers.
One of the best moments was selling my snow blower.

Well, I don't know about the freezing over part, but being responsible for a group at a site in Houston and having made several trips there from June-Aug I can confirm the H#### part

It's up in the air around here, so to speak. Nothing surprises me. It snowed here in 1975...go figure.
