I just saw that on the news tonight. What a shame.

Bad situation. The entire post including my clinic was on lockdown, and our clinic is the "backup" for any mass cas event. We were ready but thankfully not needed.

Hearts and prayers to those killed, wounded, and their families. If you have a flag, please put it at half-mast,

Paul, glad to hear you're safe. Prayers are definately being said tonight for all of you in TX.

I visited the fort several times as a young boy. A former uncle was stationed there twice.

Paul, when I heard about it one of my first thoughts was to wonder if you were still stationed there. I am glad to hear you are safe - I was going to PM you. This is indeed tragic. Our poor soldiers put their lives on the line and never expect this from one of their own.

The worthless SOB is still alive!

They need to get him well enough to rub salt in his wounds....

Assuming he survives, he is sure to face a Courts Martial. For this act, life in Leavenworth or any other military run prison is likely to be short and painful.

                  Extremely tragic.

Unfortunately, the more I read/hear about what authorities already knew about this guy, the more angry I get.
