The current look is a very familiar and comfortable scheme. I say you stick with it.

I'm not very fond of change just for the sake of 'change' either.

It comfortable, easy on the eyes and works. Change for the sake of change is, well, the fashion industry but change that makes things better is always welcome.

        Bill,
did I say that? I think I need more caffeine.

I voted for change but only to make this suggestion... I don't know how complicated it is but could you have a couple different themes for users to choose from?

Prior to the poll had anyone asked me to tell them thecolors of th site, I couldn't without looking first. I might have guessed maroon and maple because of a mobile bt3000 I was impressed with but it would have been a lucky guess

Sam have you earned your Wood Badge yet? Embrace change or get left behind. Although I also do not like change for the sake of change. Your track record for making changes for the better makes it worth the risk IMHO. I liked the old Yellow color motif upon which you improved with maroon. It's the content of the site not the packaging that makes folks come and then stay.

Absolutely! Someone already said "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".

Just for fun, here's what the forum looked like in early 2003:

And that's a good example of why I voted for a change. Is there anyone here who thinks that old style is superior to what we have now? If we dismiss change without knowing the alternatives, how can we know what wonderful things might be possible?

I very much like what we have. It's nice, and comfortable. If you feel the need to improve it, go ahead, but I don't think it's "needed".

In general, color/theme changes on a site need to have a very good reason for happening. People recognize theme as much as words or graphics.

To many things are changing and not always for the better. Lets keep good ole BT3 Central all warm and cozy. Now if you want to improve something go for it.

I come for the content, not the color
I think in straight lines, but dream in curves
