He can, he just doesn't know what it means. Methinks it is 8.5A and 60 cycles (as in hertz).
We are obviously not dealing with a Rhodes scholar here, but the info is plainly readable. You don't have to know what the text means to be able to copy it verbatim.
I love the electrical components of this thing; the toggle switch, the circuit breaker (looking well-used), and that wonderful power cord with the busted grommet and the wires chafing against the metal chassis.
And is it just me, or does the blade look completely cockeyed in that table opening? I just hope nobody ever tries to actually use that thing...
I remember my dad's owning a Craftsman tablesaw that looked uncannily like that one back in the '50s. I'm still amazed that I grew to adulthood with all ten fingers.
Honestly, why do some people insist on trying to sell stuff like this? I'm all for keeping stuff out of the landfill, but this dangerous hunk of rust just needs to be tossed.
