    Ford Taurus SHO

is coming back. Ford is bringing it back for 2010. I know a couple guys at work who will be happy. Both of them still drive them. One guy has a '96 and the other has a '99.

Saw the commercials for it recently...looks really sharp.

If the Eco-boost engine package (limited) is ordered, out the door could be close to 35-40K.

I remember the first generation SHO... Very strong engine (Suzuki, if I remember correctly). I was stumped in my choice between the SHO and the T-Bird Super Coupe. I opted for the Bird, because of more room, the styling, and the blower motor. I still have it, although I don't drive it much any more...

            If I were into cars I wouldn't spend 40k on a Ford.

I have had a Taurus SHO ('96) and it was a great car for starting out on the design sheet as a very sedate 4 door sedan. I have seen the reviews, and LOML and I are wanting a car to replace her Focus, I am not sure I could bring myself to spend what they want for them though... For that money I'll buy a Lincoln...

Bigguy, it is a Taurus with a different engine that goes much faster than the stock Taurus. I am told by a guy here on my team who is into cars that the 40k SHO is quicker than a BMW or Benz that costs much more.

A Grand National... I know a guy who still has one. It is no longer his daily driver but he does bring it to work once a month or so.

Actually, I think the pic is of a GNX (very limited edition - badder than the GN).
