75, sunny with a breeze in the cities Crokett...

Of course, being a true Minnesotan I regularly wear shorts when the temps are in the 50s, and occasionally into the 40 or upper 30's if there is significant physical activity involved.

Yeah, #1 as CROKET said. If ya'll don't like HOT maybe you should come up to northern NY. We've had ONE 80 degree day so far this summer. Might turn out like last summer; joke going round was; "What did you do last summer? Oh, that was the DAY we had the picnic!" Sad but too true.

It has been awesome here in PA. Today is the first warm & humid day in weeks. We set a record low of 49 or 50 the other morning.

Had to put a heavy shirt on today out on the water when pulling crab pots. That north breeze was cold. Too hot to work outside in the yard. The thermometer must have hit 80. Even the beer stashed in the shop started getting warm.

6pm PDST 103F here in Sacramento, very low humidity probably around 20% or less. 75 in the shop. The smartes thing I did when building was insulation door, walls, ceiling. and the ability to close off the loft and keep the cool air down low. When I was work I worked in a building that could and did get to 110F on a 110F day, no fun. Feel for everyone who has to work in those conditions.

Mid 60s for highs and windy today up here. Mostly cloudy all day too. I grew up in NY but living where I do for 15 years has thinned my blood some.

Been warming up right nice in the afternoons. Average temp for the month has been 106.

Whatever it's called, if it means warm winters and cool summers I'm all for it. Uh, at least until the bad stuff happens

High today's supposed to be 65, about 20º below normal.

They had to change the name because the talking/shouting heads on FOX couldn't understand that Global Warming did not mean warmer everywhere.

And David, I grew up a few miles north of your location, International Falls Minn. I have photos of ice in the lake on the 15th of June thick enough to land a plane on, and one year only August was snow free! As Garrison Keeler would say, 'and all the children were strong because the others froze to death.'

Now go forth and enjoy your vacation, fish without getting heat stroke and be thankful, if it were warmer more mosquitoes would be out!

Oh, and don't forget when you go swimming you may not be alone in the water,

Looking forward to a cool wave next week - highs only in the lower to mid-90s.

We have had so many days > 100 in the past 3 weeks I lost count. Highest here 106-107 for several days straight. Forget working in the shop with a 6K BTU window unit.

Very unusual for June - July. August, is this holds, will be h***.
