Yes he apparently has...this report also. He was off the deep end, but very talented.

I just heard about it a few minutes ago. I agree with everything said above.

A music icon for an age, even if he was extremely eccentric.

Yeah -- just saw that, too. I'm pretty sure Thriller was my first album... probably a lot of people's first album... Tough day in Hollywood.

As to MJ, talented, but way too weird even for me.

I shouldn't be happy about this should I?

He was gifted beyond belief, but was so far out there it is hard to have sympathy for him... Especially all the stuff about child molestation...

The man was a monster, one of the worst kinds. The worst part is, I am sure most of the coverage will "forget" that or say he "had some issues" for the past few years. I'm just going to ignore the coverage as much as I can.

I kind of figure I am going to take some flack for saying that... But oh well. I learned a long time ago if someone gets mad at you for calling bad, bad... Well they are the ones with the problem. Unless of course they are pointing a gun at you.

I feel bad for the guy -- I'm pretty sure he was insane. When he did give the rare interview, he always seemed to act like his heart was in the right place, even as he got stranger and stranger...

He's been "dead" as a musician for years, but he redefined pop for the ages. Rappers and other pop stars have been trying to get a groove as "cool" as Billy Jean ever since 1983, and have failed...
