    Plans for father's day?

Father's day tomorrow. Any special plans, expecting any neat gifts?

I'm looking forward to great weather for the 13-YO daughter's softball tournament this afternoon and tomorrow. Wife will grill dinner both nights. And the wife and two daughters will undoubtedly treat me like a king (they absolutely spoil me).

I haven't asked for any gifts this year. Seems like tempting fate.

Sending step mom's B-day card and Father's day card out today. (They live too far to visit.). Work has been too hectic to actually run by the post office and send these things. (They are over the weight limit, Audio cards etc...).

FIL was supposed to be over today to BBQ for him. Got a call from another BIL about where is Dad and why he isn't at granddaughter's wedding. (WEDDING?!) Sudden event it appears, anyway, long story short, not doing anything with the dads on either side as schedule and distance aren't working...

Still working with Dr. to find out why father's day isn't happening in my house...

Hoping I won't get a visit from a 20yr old explaining that her mom told her to contact me.

I got two gifts today already. A pair of crocs and a new hat to grub around in the yard in. My straw boater and my Tilley I can now keep for steppin' out. Tomorrow AM play with the kiddies then work on the shop some, then go over to my folks' house for dinner.

Lunch with my daughter and my son is sending me a ticket package for a Letterman Show. I think the plan is to meet up in New York and take in the show and stay a few days.

I am going to rest. We just got back from a cruise. Drove 12 hours to get back home, then unloaded the car.It was a long day, but it was well worth it we really enjoyed our first cruise experience. I will just book a cruise from a closer port next time.

                  Happy Fathers Day to all!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think therefore I .....awwww where is that remote.

Get up real early (5am) drive 60 miles to Nevada City with my 2 Sons and 2 Grandsons and watch Lance Amstrong and Levi Lipeheimer ride in the 49Th annual Fathersday Crit. Decide to fight the traffice going there than the traffic going an comming from Infenion raceway and the Cup race.

Plans to go to the Flyfest at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Musem. Dad jumped from Dakotas and my uncle flew in Lanc's. But what I really want to see is one of the first flights of a restored Lizzie.

My gift (?) was a call from my son who is an airline Captain telling me he had crashed a Pitt Special while doing acrobatic flight. He was trying to roll out of an inverted outside loop when it went into an unrecoverable spin. Told me when the altimeter hit 1500' he bailed out and watched his 50K plane turn into scrap! I told him he had more money than sense but was glad he knew when to give the plane back to the bank.
