It might be neat to do that treatment to all the other cars in the lot, so that it would be easier to find yours...

Yep, mostly at airports. It wasn't painted to be invisible, either.

I suggested to LOML that we paint the backyard facade onto my two illegal sheds to look like the rest of the yard. She laughed.

Actually on several occasions when I take her car for the day and go to a store, I come out looking for my SUV, and it ain't there. I get that sick feeling in my stomach that it was stolen until I remember I took her car.

Never lost the car. I have on occassion, however, taken the scenic route back to the car.

A very talented young lady indeed. As impressed with her talent as I was, I was also impressed with the reporter's writing style. In this country, the reporter would have just referred to her as Watson, in the UK she's Miss Watson. I like their way better.

The British do have a way with words, don't they. They know the language and aren't afraid to use it, correctly, of course!

I think my car is invisible. At least the other drivers on the freeway don't seem to see it.

Thankfully, I have taken people who were too drunk to drive, back to the area where they lost their car ("it was stolen" in their drunken state) back to find it in another lot (not where they THOUGHT they parked, the next day.
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

A lot of people around here will fasten something to their antennas so they can spot their car in a lot. Walking through a parking lot one day I saw some kids who were moving them to another car of the same make/color. That'll mess with your head.

My G1 'GooglePhone' has an app called ParkMark that uses the built-in GPS on the phone. You mark the spot when you park, when you come back it directs you to where you parked. I love technology that actually serves a purpose....

That's great until you start relying on it and it breaks

That is pretty nifty, but somehow I will be sad to see the day when people become so dependent that they can no longer find their car without the help of GPS and their cellphone. As an example, how many cashiers today can actually make and count change without the register telling them how much? How many kids today can actually do math longhand? When technology finally supplants peoples' ability to think for themselves, I will be sad.

                              Lost Car

I lost my car once. I was working retail and I closed up the mall store on the Saturday night before Easter. I bought this 4'tall pink stuffed rabbit for my fiance (now wife). I couldn't find my car anywhere, then I looked and saw my motorcycle.

I nearly caused several wrecks going home with a big pink rabbit sitting behind me on my bike.
