My old boss had a vanity plate on his car with his name on it. I always razzed him that it was so he could remember which car was his in the parking lot.

You know those balls that they put on car antennas so you can find them in the parking lot? Those should be on EVERY CAR! --Homer Simpson

At Atlanta International Airport coming home very late from a flight from Philly. I had the section and row written on a notepad with me.. It just wasn't there where I left it and I headed to a phone to report it stolen. Well.. until a the little light went on in my head.

North parking deck and not south so I head to North.. Just where I left it before leaving.. Both parking lots are idenical except one is South and well... one is North..

That, and one of them had your car, while the other one... uh... didn't.

Hee...... The worst case scenario happened with a witness that didn't need to see that. I am a very organized person to a degree and have a pretty good memory of events. I spent 20 minutes looking for my truck keys one morning and I was baffled on this one. I put them in a plastic container on the end of a kitchen counter.. always..

But.. they weren't there at time to leave. I recalled every step I had been in the house the night before and searched them all. No keys as the search came up short and I had no clue at that point. My wife walked in and ask what I was swearing at under my breath. I told her I couldn't find my keys and I had looked everywhere I might have accidentally layed them down.

She started laughing and told me I might try looking in my left hand. She walked away shaking her head.

Do you suppose she had forgotten the incident. If you are married.. you know better as it makes good fodder at family gatherings.

Some days it just doesn't pay to get out of bed.. ha.. ha... ha..ha..ha..

I'm generally pretty good about keeping track of my vehicle. But not always - about 10 years ago I went to a concert at Reunion Arena in Dallas with a very attractive and intelligent young lady. This was probably about my 4th date with her, and I wanted to impress her (thinking that the concert was a good way to score some points.) It was December, Dallas, late at night, and unseasonably cold - not a good time to be roaming around like an idiot looking for my vehicle. As expected, that was my last date with her.

No regrets, it wasn't meant to be - my wife is 10x better.
