I saw this DVD Razzle Dazzle which showcases numbers from Mitzi's specials during the 60's and 70's.
I put it on Netflix for my wife and it finally arrived.
What a great gal - makes me almost forget Julianne Hough from dancing withthe stars. Many of the same qualities the superb dancing, the clothes, the singing, and the bubbly personality and those eyelashes and expressions.
Well Mitzi had one thing going for her that Julianne doesn't - all those Bob Mackie outfits. I guess she may have been the one that put him on the map even before he did Cher.

Anyway, what a great gal.

I was pretty young then, and I don't remember admisring her like I do now, but if you take away the timescale and look at the video as if she were that age now, she looks great.

She was really put together. Juliet Prowse was another from that era and ilk.

Let's not forget Ginger Rogers, or Ann Miller. It may date us, but wouldn't trade experiencing that era for anything...well, I might trade it for another 50 years.

We saw Ann Miller on stage many years ago. What a dancer/entertainer. Always try to catch her movies on TCM.
