I agree. Stay calm, call his supervisor, and suggest that he be retrained with regards to manners in dealing with clients. If that doesn't work, or make you feel better, follow Ed's advice:

Probably a good idea... after I've been released from their payouts. I still have to deal with them and other than being un-thinking he's been pretty good to deal with. IN other words, I'm not going to burn that bridge. Now, the technician that did my first echocardiogram as they were doing the workup for a diagnosis (home town hospital) needs one done. We were joking around and after we were done she and teh doc were looking at the video of my heart and she turns around, looks like someone ran over her dog and says, "Oh, I'm sooo sorry!" WTHeck! The doc was from Norway and he says to me and the wife, "OK, he's going to have a heart transplant" - my wife bursts into tears, he doesn't miss a beat, even with her sobbing - "or he will die soon." I had him alone later and told him that it wasn't very tactful of him. He said that it was true, why would he tell us that it wasn't serious when it was and there is no reason to pretend. He just didn't get it. Oh well, a person's backround molds them in many ways. Mine was course and I try to be as level headed and nonconfrontational as possible. Just the opposite of him. God bless him too. There but for the brace of God go I. BTW, I still can't thank you enough for your well wishes and prayers. This place is where some of the best hang out.
      Blessings,
      Chiz
