at least the redneck with a dui is obeying his probation and not driving.

Here in Texas we have a class of driver, they don't have licenses, they don't have insurance either (required by law), they get picked up multiple times for DUI and about the third or fourth tme they kill some lovely family of four or an elderly couple - someones grandparents, and ironically they seem to be able to walk away from these accidents themselves.

Same problem in Ga. They even kill Sheriffs here, post bail and head home south of the border never to be seen again. Think they will ever get a fence put up?

Nothing personal guys, and I'm not from the group your allude to myself, but that slide off into pointing fingers that was done in the posts above is more than a little offensive... There's plenty of U.S. Citizens that do the SAME THING, and then disappear north, south, east ,or west...

We've got our share of home-grown idiots around here that have been caught many times and still drive. My feeling is, first DUI, you lose your license and your car, second time, serious jail time. And if you kill someone—it's murder.

Tough? Sure, but something has to be done to stop those sociopathic idiots who just don't give a **** about anyone but themselves.

Here in Canada too. Many years ago I came across a car in the ditch so I stoped to check to make sure everyone was alright. Here was buddy, three sheets, trying to start his car. He started on about how he couldn't get caught ......again! When the cops did show up( with a little call from a home owner) buddy tried to run. It wasn't the officer who stopped him-it was the telephone pole he ran face first into

I wonder whether he shot it, or hit it with his vehicle...
