I use 2X Ultra Tide Coldwater. Being a household of one I don't buy a bottle often enough to worry about the price. Pat

I think we use Arm and Hammer too. Not sure about the price, but it's not the expensive stuff.

Another tide with bleach user. The liquids always seem to get the bottles messy. We use the powder only.

I think Arm and Hammer was about $2.50 at Walmart for 150 oz/96 loads, though it may have gone up some from there in the past year. It is one of the cheapest detergents that passes my wife's smell test.

We use the Costco brand soap and I like it. I believe the cost is somewhere around 11 to 14 dollars. We use only liquid because we have our own septic system and the powder will cause build up and big problems by blocking the pipes. If we don't make it to Costco then we use Purex and I usually buy the free and clear, or the one that has no dyes and fragrance because once in a while the scents and things make the oldest son break out with a rash.

FWIW, LOML and I went by Krogers last night to get some Tortillas for some Fajitas I was grilling up...

On a quick walk through the detergent aisle (I do my part to help you guys and gals out...) I took a quick glance..

                Gain 120 load powder, $11.99.

Not the cheapest, but pretty close...
