    LOML Health Problems

This is a long story, but I need to tell some friends about this. LOML fell in July walking

back from the park across the street. When they xrayed and all She had broken the

bone as it enters the shoulder socket. Then came the end of August and She went in for

Her Yearly Mamogram. They had a problem with it cause She couldn't lift Her arm up far

enough. So they scheduled another and an Ultrasound, She has Breast Cancer, They did

the Ultrasound Biopsy last week and We met the Doctor of Surgery today. LOML is

scheduling this today, for later this week.

This is unusual for LOML's Family have never had Cancer. Any Prayers or offering up a Good

Word for Her would be Welcome. Her name is Jo Ann Stacks. Thanks, Bill

Being a cancer survivor myself, I know all too well how devastating news like yours can be. I wish only the best for Jo Ann and for you too, Bill.

You may find some comfort by taking advantage of some of the many wonderful resources available to cancer patients and caregivers. Partly because I am a cyclist, I am partial to the Lance Armstrong Foundation; but I also always recommend them because of their particular emphasis on helping people cope with a diagnosis, and to learn how to live with, through, and beyond cancer. If you are feeling lost and helpless and don't know where to turn, consider turning to the LAF. They are there to help.

You will both be in my thoughts throughout these difficult first days, and in the weeks to come as well. Jo Ann and you CAN get through this. LiveStrong!

                Bill,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you from Washington State. And just remember that laughter helps also and I know that you can keep her laughing, . Jo Ann will be in my thoughts everyday until we hear that she is doing better and will be cancer free.

Bill, LOML has had breast cancer twice. This is something you have to go through together. It won't be easy for either one of you, but it will be harder for her. Talk about it with her. Listen to her concerns, and try to be as helpful as possible. Communication is important. Our prayers will be with both of you.

Thoughts and prayers are on their way form Northern California. I know how devistated I would be if my wife of 43 years had some serious health issues. Give our love to your wife for us.

Thanks All, I knew I would get some responses from The Folks on the Forum. I am just

overwhelmed on this as LOML has always been there for Me. I have been the sickly one,

twice, but I will be there for Her. Bill
