Prayers go out to your grandson and family and you. Wish there was more to say to make you feel better, but I all too well know how you feel. May God bless and heal your grandson.

Thank you all very much for the good wishes and prayers. I'm sure it will help.

He had a headache, and told the others in the house that he was going to lie down for a while. Two hours later, someone went to see how he was doing. He had already turned purple. The ambulance took him to the hospital, where they put him on life support. I don't think they know for certain what caused it, but the doctor did tell us it might have been an aneurism. His father's side of the family had problems with that. An overdose of amphetamine type drugs could also cause the bleeding, but he tested negative for that.

He would have been 23 years of age, next week. Surgery is scheduled for 7 P.M. to harvest his organs. If anything good can come from this, maybe someone else will live because they can get a transplant.

Once again, thank you for the great support.

            Ed

Oh Ed, what a shame... But a blessing for the others who you and your family have thought to help at this awful time. When one door closes, another opens. My prayers now that you and yours can all gain solace from this as you deal with your sorrow. You have friends here, so please use us as you need to.
