(One of the) Joys of growing Old(er)

The scene: A Public toilet somewhere in Melbourne...

I have been standing here for 10 minutes - leaning forward, right hand on the wall (I'm left handed) - push, push, dribble - push, push, dribble...

Enter a young guy about 8 - down with the zip - BLAM! nanosecond to start, then (at least) 1 pint in about 4 seconds - dents left in the stainless steel

The little **** had the gall to grin at me as he walked out

Look at it this way, at least if you wet your pants at the rate you're going, it would dry before the next 'dribble'. The little 'tyke' would leave a puddle and be in tears whereas you'd probably would just be happy you were able to 'go'.

is this related to the low water pressure posts by Rick (RSLAUGH)?

Every once in a while we have to come out of the shop and fix something on the Honey-do list. This is a place we can discuss those projects.

I think maybe his sig line applies here, too.

Oh no! Is that what's been happening to me for the past year or so?!

Does this old age stuff get any easier to accept in time?

I see my doc once a year for a prostate check. He always asks me if I want some of those pills. I tell him I don't have a problem like that. The way he looks at me makes me suspect he thinks I'm lying. Maybe I'm a little odd for my age.

I guess there are two of us.

I get two physicals every other year - one for health and one for the FAA. The doctors have been trying to get me on blood pressure and cholesterol meds for six years. I keep telling them I'd do it with diet and exercise, and so far my vitals haven't gotten any worse.

I limit my "better living through chemistry" to aspirin and alcohol. But never together.

Less of the latter means you don't need the former.
