    Gas Prices Again

I know it's getting tired to talk about, but Our gas prices have not gone over $2.99, that

said. Yesterday gas prices were about $2.89 a gallon. My Brother just called Me, He was

at Sam's Club and gas was down to $2.74, I went and topped them both off. I don't

understand, but it felt good to get gas a little cheaper. Bill

Gas prices around here have been jumping all over the place. But for the last month or so, it hasn't gone over $3.00. I think it's $2.89 now.

The oil companies are winning when you feel good paying $2.74 for a gallon of gasoline.

Blah! The holiday has passed and the prices come back down. Christmas and New years will be $3.15...

Its not a conspiracy, its supply and demand... and there is no price fixing involved.

Loring I'm not proud of paying $2.74 a gallon, but I had to buy it and the price is better. Bill

Don't complain. Yesterday we paid $0.985Can per liter, a few days earlier it was $1.035 per liter, that works out to 3.785 x 1.035 = $3.92Can. for a US gallon. And we export oil to the US. Taxes, taxes and more taxes.
The US $ is roughly on par with the Canadian $.

I haven't seen gas under $3.50 for a few weeks. $2.99 would feel like a steal.

Gas prices here in western Washington state are $3.07 @ the Costco in Smokey Point, otherwise prices run from $3.11 to $3.30 a gallon. I do not ascribe to supply and demand argument, it is pure greed. There is plenty of gas available at higher prices. The gas giants are having a hay day. If we don't go bankrupt paying for fuel, some other calamity will take its place.
