    Friday Morning's What's This - (Difficulty = 2.0)

I've got to admit there wasn't much of a writeup on this one. If I hadn't made something similar to it in the early 80's I would most likely have been stumped. I bumped the degree of difficulty up a half point just to be fair. It's one of those things you might just know. If our National Champion Ric doesn't get it right off I'll be surprised. There's a lot of pressure on him right now to keep the belt.

Just a word about the rules on this. It's going to need a specific answer. If it isn't guessed pretty quick (which it may) I have a few clues to help out.

Some kind of crusher. Even if it is, I know it is not specific enough.

The chief cause of failure in this life is giving up what you want most for what you want at the moment.

The rejected design for a navel ship anchor.
                More seriously a sarcophagus(sp?) stand.

You gotta start giving us more than one photo, or at least a description - how big is it, is it wood or metal, what's the back side look like.

From the photo thought, it just looks like a decorative cover of some sort - so I'll guess a light sconce.

You see exactly what I see. That's the only picture I could find. I tried to do some research on this particular item and the most I could find out was what it was. So, from the picture I'm guessing it is maybe 3' across and maybe 30" - 36" high. It's sitting on an outside deck next to some outdoor furniture. So, that's how I'm judging the scale. I have no idea what the back looks like. For all I know, the picture might be showing the back.

I'm also guessing it could be made out of wood, at least the one I made was.

                            Thanks for playing...clever guess...BUT...
