Which electric razor do you use?

Well, the old Norelco slipped from my hand and clipped the edge of the commode - and shattered the retaining ring around the triple head. I super-glued it together but it's already getting loose after 2 weeks. I'm going to have to loosen the purse strings and spring for another so I'm asking around for experiences with other brands. I'd go back to a safety razor and creame, which I do on the wekends, but I get in a hurry in the mornings and look like a turkey who barely escaped the axe - less hurried on the weekends. So, what's the consensus - Norelco, Braun, etc, etc

    TIA,
    Chiz
    Blessings,

I used to like Braun for YEARS until the battery finally wouldn't hold a charge. I went to Best Buy and they happened to be blowing out some Remingtons for like $10, so I've been using that ever since. Gets the job done. Only problem so far is that you can't plug it in and use it. So when the batteries run dry, you need wait for it to charge up again! (Discovered this after shaving half my face before heading off to work. )

I'm a Norelco fan. Like the ability to run from the wall if the battery's down, the popup clipper, battery indicator. Have a cheap little Braun for use when traveling.

        Norelco

I have been using a Norelco razor since 1968, except for about 6 months when I used a Remington. I never thought that the Remington did as good a job on me as the Norelco, and it failed early. I don't think I have had over 5 or 6 different Norelco's in that time span.

I have had 2 norelcos...and hated them both . They seem to leave me raw and with a bunch of skiped places. I use a mach 3 and don't have any complaints.

Another vote for Braun here. Though I've heard nice things about the Panasonics.

I just switched from the blade to a Norelco after some facial surgery. So far I'm very pleased with results.

Thanks for all the input, folks. I guess I'm sticking with Norelco but the different models are overwhelming. My old one (?? model # - possibly 1608 x)) holds a charge for weeks and a lot of the reviews seem satisfied with three uses. This old unit also has the charger built into the power cord. The search is on!
