My Sergeant Major sent this to a lot of us...he got it from our Inspector General. The Snopes link says it's true.
I'm sure Sears is not alone in doing this, but they are one of the corporations most talked about on the site that does this for servicemembers. I'm going to mention my appreciation the next time I go to Sears. I used to be an ROTC instructor, so I know quite a few reserve and National Guard leiutenants who have been or will be deployed.
