In my case I think cocobola just looks tasty.

Although cypress and cedar are a close second just for the associated infamy of being a cypress and/or cedar eating termite.

if I was a termite I would get sucked into a dust collector in a woodshop. That would be a buffet I believe.

Purpleheart. That wood is evil! Any I could destroy would be that much less for someone else to have to deal with!

It's interesting that the two front runners at this posting are associated with edibles - Pecans and Maple. And for a write in, Cherry got more than one mention.

Well, it's obvious to me that, if I were a termite, I would want to eat the most available wood to me at the time. I think that termites don't like to travel vary far, unless it is in wood or underground.

I chose Bubinga. We we were slicing it up for veneer in Germany, it would come out of hot vats of warm solvent and they would get sliced wet. The colors in it were very reminicent of strawberry and cream ice cream. It had a very nice sweet smell as well.
I would have to be an African Termite though.

For another wood choice, some guys like theirs very rare, so how about Bloodwood?

Bloodwood smells kinda like coconut when you cut it, I would go with that. Kind of reminiscent of suntan lotion at the beach.
