      If I were a termite I would start with pine. There is more of that around us than all other woods put together. Now, where do I click?

        Ya, I second pine. Gotta start with some softwoods folks, though that sap probably gets pretty chewy. There is no way I'm jumping into something with the density of cocobola! Talk about a case of TMJ!

            Based on smell and appearance: Cherry or Bolivian Rosewood.
