Whatcha got planned for the weekend?

I will put the brick veneer on my retaining wall and tunnel the drain line under the slab. Will also try to slot in some drywall work and fix a downspout.

I'm psyched! We're moving into a new house this weekend. My parents are
helping us with the big stuff next weekend.

      Ceiling

Installing drop ceiling grid for the kitchen's new tin ceiling. Should be OK.

          First, clean up the shop.
Try to finish my mobile BT3 base (router table end) and mount the router.
Oh, and find a place to hide my small BS so LOML doesn't notice that there are 2 BS in my shop...LOL
If time allows, build a mobile base for the new BS.
This is of course all dependent on if I have to come to work on Sunday or not.

Hey Ken W, better be careful! Mixing Wood from a fruit tree with one that produces nuts will leave you with Granola!

Replacing my kitchen counter, sink and floor. Oh boy, I can't wait. LOML expects everything to be done by Sunday afternoon, and I haven't started it yet and I am doing it alone. I have told her repeatedly that it won't be done on Sunday, but I know she will still be surprised and PO'ed on Sunday. I LOVE that.

Am in the process of designing and building a bathroom cabinett, the front will be cherry and the sides and back since they will not be seen will skin with lauan, However, this weekend I am going to help my across the road buddy work on a 12 x 20 storage shed. We have the sills, floor and the walls framed up as of this afternoon. Tommorow will start to put up board and batten siding. Another friend (who is a real smart guy) is going to come down and lay out a template for trusses, which we will build our selves. Soo, that's my weekend.

Why the heck are you posting on BT3Central if you are on vacation in Cancun?!! I can think of a lot better things to do, esp since if I am ever in Cancun it will be just me and LOML.

Well I am at My Daughters house, with Her 2 Daughters. Their Dad is picking them up in the A.M., and I am going to work on Her kitchen. Tomorrow is Her 32nd Birthday, and I would like to show some good progress. Bill

A few month's ago I built a Chimney Cupboard and at my wife's request I used Minwax Golden Oak stain to finish it, which turned out looking really good. Originally, I was going to use a milk paint.

This week, my wife told me she "likes" the Chimney Cupboard, but thinks she might like one in milk paint better. "Could I build another one and we'll give the one WE don't like to one of our daughters?"

Of course, I said! So, I picked up the pine yesterday and am on my way out to the shop to begin to build another one. Luckily, I really enjoyed the first one, so I'm kind of looking forward to this to see how the milk paint project looks.

I'll bet something like this has never happened to any of you guys, has it?

Haul the mail on Saturday then continue design/building of the 8" Rockwell Delta jointer base. Trim out the window in the Master Bath (#1 son is going to grout the floor). Back to work on Monday, but I have Tuesday off this week.

BTW, did I mention buying an 8" Rockwell Delta Jointer with 54" beds at an auction for $160??????
