Taking a stab at gilding a carved onlay. Drilling some shelf pins, and assembling my bookcase carcases. Doing a dovetail jig demo tomarrow morning. Playing with my Niece and Nephew.

That should be enough for one weekend.

I'm in the middle of a major kitchen remodel. Demo and framing is done. This weekend I'm doing all of the electrical and moving a natural gas pipe.
Then I'm doing homework from a college class I'm taking.

I'd love to see it when your done! I have always debated about making one cabinet (stand alone, next to stove) with milk paint, as when my house was built, it appears originally they have all seperate cabinets. (It was the builders showplace that his daughter moved into).

Tommorrow we should suprise a PO'd lady! We've been planning a suprise 60th birthday party for my mother, and she hasn't been able to find anyone to due anything with on her birthday. She also thinks dad is taking her out, for what will probably be a stupid gift. Been working on it for a while. Then I can get back to my life and projects (been falling behind between that and a sick relative).
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

          Hi,

I'll definitely post a pic of the milk-paint cabinet after I finish it - probably about 2-3 weeks or so. Here's a pic of the first one I built and finished with golden oak stain:
