"How many trucks are usually on a military base"?.... Lee

I would say ONE TRUCK which sits on top of the flagpole at the Commandant's HQ. Number of vehicles will vary!

I would have guessed the Commandant's HQ as Bldg. #1, but obvioulsy that is in-correct. I will take a shot at Main Administration Building and admit it's a shot in the dark with fond memories that a Rifle is not a GUN. ha.. ha...

    Regards...

I thought Building #1 was Security headquarters. Am I wrong? Bill

Building #1 is the base of the flagpole.

The ONLY truck on a base is at the top of the flagpole.
Military "trucks" are vehicles and "trucks" owned by soldiers are POVs.

I have seen bases with more than one flagpole, so the correct answer is that there are as many trucks as flagpoles.
What we call trucks are wheeled vehicles in the Army.

So close, so close. Try to nail it down. I think ya-all blew a fuse on Google. The answer is very specific, not general, and not really very difficult. Heck, this is an open book question.

I managed base-wide communications capabilities all the way down to individual telephone lines into each and every building at several different Air Force bases during my career, and there was no consistency whatsoever in building numbering patterns shared by these bases; what you're looking for must be a fairly recent change.

Building #1 at Fort Hood is the ACS center (Army Community Services), but I don't know if that's true on all posts.

Okay, I will be more specific. It is at the base of the post flagpole. I've stood in way too many retirement ceremonies at Ft Bragg, and participated in even more too many boards to get this question wrong. lol
