An Entire Uninteruptd Day In The Shop

LOML cooked breakfast this morning and told me to hit the shop she wanted to clean house. I am not one to argue with an order like that.

This batch is going to a Boston Whaler owner in Texas who sent me a sustantial supply of mahogany from a 1974 Boston Whaler, these are all turned from that wood. I had allready turned 4 of them so just 1 pen and the stopper today. The black dots on the stopper are insect holes, couldn't bear to cover them up.

These two pens are turned from a piece of teak off of a 1977 Boston Whaler and are going to a Whaler owner in California. The boxes are oak from Woodcraft.

This bottle stopper is from a mahogany scrap and is going to be used by me.

    Nice work Dick.

You are really doing well with those stoppers.

Nice work, Dick. Sounds like the LOYL is on the mend.

Those look really nice Dick....the elongated stopper is interesting...lots of grabbing area after having a few.[)]

So....you got any extra of those "go to shop all day" passes left? I really could use one! Even a half day one..I'm not really picky.

Those "Go To The Shop All Day" passes are about as scarce as the "Go Buy Yourself Some New Tools" ones are.

Thanks to all for the great comments.

I like days like that even though I know she just sends me to the shop so she can read in peace. Still it is great.

You mean you get those too!?!?!....man, must be the salt air or somethin'....that's it....LOML and I are selling everything and moving to WA. Second thought (rare I know) maybe be cheaper to do a REALLY big book o' the month club as KWGeorge cleverly set up.
