    My First Razor

I finally got around to trying one today. A chrome kit wrapped in White Turquoise Tru-Stone. Sanded to 320 and finished up on the Beale wheels.

That is really sharp looking, pun intended. The stone is beautiful and it looks to have a nicely substantial heft as opposed the cheesy plastic and rubber handle on mine.

I really like the looks of that. I think the stone appearance works extremely well for toiletry related items.

I've been intending to try Tru-Stone but just haven't gotten around to it. This may push me to find the time.

You're tempting to going back to a razor!

Very nice piece Dick - classy. I like the hardware - what is your source? I saw other kits at Rockler and Woodcraft, but not this one.

This kit is from Arizona Silhouette. Nothing against Rockler or W/C but I have found that there are better sources for turning supplies.

Looks great but you know the money is in the blades right?
