    Turning In Mach III

Ok, not in mach three but how about a Mach III? I pick up some Mach III kits at the last woodshow I attended and mixed it up with a Leopard print blank. I think it turned out well.

Kit and blank from William Wood-write.

    Thanks for looking.

Really, really nice, Richard. Was it a difficult kit to assemble?

That is a VERY nice looking piece of work! Well done and great choice of a blank.

Thanks guys. The kit was very easy to put together. The only problem I encountered was blade end needed a drop od CA to hold it tight.

That is really cool! Almost wants me to go back to the Mach III. But I think their blade quality really declined over time, seemed after a two or three shaves they were dull. I switched to the Schick Hydro, much closer shave and the blades last longer.

My CNC lathe uses Mach 3 for turning.
It hasn't turned out anything that nice yet though. Great job on selection and finishing. You aren't going to use it, are you?

Richard, That looks really nice! If you can bring it to the show (along with some of your pens), I love to see them first hand. (I am assuming that you are coming to the show!).

Thanks guys. I don't have any plans to use it. Will most likely gift it out. I plan on coming to the show Turaj. Gord G has been asking about that too. Will you be working it again?
