I bought a new lathe today

I went to Wood Craft this morning with $200 in gift cards and some cash and bought me a new Nova DVR XP. Now to clean up a spot in the garage/shop and make a new base for it. I am as excited as a little kid on Christmas morning today.

pray the motor is a good one. I've heard quite a few people who have had to swap motors several times with customer service. The electronics I think are the root of the problem, but they replace the entire headstock for obvious reasons.

If at first you don't succeed, deny you were trying in the first place.

Gift cards RULE... Anybody who thinks giving them shows a lack of thoughtfulness is sooooooo wrong.

Congratulations on the new lathe, and welcome to a very slippery, and expensive slope...
