    A Polaris Pencil

I turned this one this morning from an unknown piece of wood I salvaged from a towel bar. It is quite soft and turned like butter.

Good one, Dick! Love the knot... They can be a PITA, but I try to include them whenever I can.

Very nice looking pen, Dick. Knowing nothing about turning.. why is it called a Polaris pen? The first thing that came into my mind when I saw it was it is similar to a Polaris missle even though I doubt it seriously.
