    One more: walnut bowl

This was the bowl that got me frustrated a few weeks ago, and scared me away from the lathe. But as some of the guys here suggested, it's a matter of having sharp tools. Now that my bench grinder and jigs are within 5 feet of the lathe, I'm not so scared anymore. I'm actually looking forward to trying out another walnut blank.

I really have to learn more about sanding and finishing, though. And to stop futzing with the outside of the bowl once I've started working on the inside.

The bowl turned out great. I've actually gone back and "reworked" bowls that I've finished and had sitting around for weeks. Of course you have to figure out how to mount them again and that can be a problem sometimes. I don't think you've "futzed" around too much
