Pen Blank cutting sled for Bandsaw

I got the idea for this sled oven on penturners.org where a guy had made one for the table saw. I just took his idea and adapted it too the bandsaw. It uses the actual pen tube to measure the blank for cutting. It's adjusted so that it cuts the blank about 1/16" longer than the tube. Very easy to make and it's very accurate.

If your only tool is a hammer, you tend to treat all problems as if they were nails.

Yeah, I wondered about taking the first 2 pictures on my tablesaw. I thought it might be confusing but it was the only "clean" flat surface in the shop Maybe I need to clean up a little.

oh, it's yours. Just the backdrop. No wonder I was confused. I DO understand about finding a clean spot in the shop...

Finding a clean spot is no problem for me... I just fire up the backpack blower and have at it...
