    A Couple New Pens

As you can see I like working with the acrylics. I turned these Tues & Wed and should get all day in the shop today.
The kits and blanks are all from Woodcraft.
    The blanks are:
Turquoise -- Lava -- Ruby -- Tye Die -- Scarlet Mesh & Smoke Rings

      Dick,
I am just getting into turning and you are quickly becoming a great inspiration. Thanks for posting the pictures.

Nice Pen, you like Atlas Pens don't you? I have done a few in both wood and Acrylic. Right now I am doing some Roller Ball and Fountain and trying a Cigar pen. I am going to try and take some pictures to post. Friday I pick up my MT2 Chuck from Woodcraft and then will try some Bottle Stoppers, got a shipment of blanks and Silcone material from Craft Supply today so I am ready to go.

These are nice! Were those the blanks selected by your better half?

              How do you finish those?

                To answer a couple questions:
1: I do sell a few, mostly to the residents here at the retirement center.
2: For a finish I dry sand with 240, 320, 400 & 600 paper. I then wet sand with the micro mesh system and finish with Hut ultra gloss plastic polish or MMM fiberglass color restorer/wax.
3: The 158gr 357 mag hollow points are only delivered under special conditions.
4: The Tye Die and Lava were two of the blanks that LOML selected.

Retirement is wonderful, all the shop time that I want. Here are 5 that I turned yesterday.
