    Laminated turning blanks question...

Gonna laminate some dissimilar wood species to produce turning blanks. I'm curious which glue has proven the best choice for you turning gurus out there. Blanks will be for stoppers, knife scales, pens, and other smaller non-food pieces. I'm thinking that strength, invisibility and ability to work in a tight, nearly starved joint might favor thin-bodied CA. Opinions?

All the laminations I've done have used yellow wood glue or Elmers Glue All if I need more open time.

If at first you don't succeed, deny you were trying in the first place.

        Uncle Cracker,
I make a lot of bottle stoppers and laminated bowl configurations, etc and use original TiteBond but have also used TiteBond II and III both.

Thanks guys... I'll give it a shot with TB2. Maybe that way I won't end up glued to the blank...

I've used regular yellow Titebond as well as the "premium" wood glue, both seem just fine. If you have a properly fitted joint I don't think it matters what you use, the line will be invisible.
