    Router lift crank

I always thought that the router lift crank handle that came with my Jessem was a little plasticy.

    Made one yesterday

Mine works ok but it is too short to clear the fence. Where did you source the rod?

Amazon. 12" long brass 1/4" hex bar, 2 each $9.99 free shipping They also have 4 for $15.49
      https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Of course your cheap option once you have the brass bar, use a 1/4 drive ratchet with a 1/4" socket
Another cheap option is to use a 1/4" allen socket with 3/8 or 1/4 drive, 9 inch extension and a ratchet. But I didn't like them as much... the swivel knob on the end of the handle makes a big difference.
