    duh...

    Got some new blades for my Dewalt Planer and my Jet Jointer. The planer went fine and cuts beautifully. The jointer is another story. Put the blades in set the height very carefully. Tried it out and had bad snipe at the end. Reset the blades again. Same results Tried it once more. Same thing. Then I got a brilliant idea. I checked the owners manual. Raised the height of the outfeed table. Perfect. Some days, it just don't pay to chew your way out of the restraints.
    In my old age I look back and realize how lucky I was to live in a time when common sense was common.
